It’s Summer and I haven’t written as much as I intended, so far. I did get a lot of inspiration for #PakispanishLover (as if I needed more of that!), after spending more time in Barcelona with the man himself. That project is going well, under circumstances – I have written a few more poems, written a few more pages and I have decided on the ending for the story.
I found that it is rather difficult to pick an ending when you are describing your own chronicles in love; it has the awkward side effect that you keep living your love life through novelty glasses – and in my case they are not the Dame Edna kind. Since I have a clear point to get to now, I suspect these glasses will soon dissolve. All I have to do is get there, which, to a writer with permanent writers block, is of course no problem at all.
I have also chosen the feature poem which bears the title of the book. I’m really excited about this! Tomorrow (or, let’s get crazy, perhaps even today!) I will continue writing on this project.
I have decided just now that I will set a deadline for finishing the first draft on January 31. Five months. That should be ample time…
